On the North Kaibab, the water was turned on at the Roaring Spring cabin but not at Cottonwood and not higher up... meaning the furthest distance we had to go between piped water was 10 miles. No problem since it was cool all day. On the Bright Angel, the last piped water going up was at Indian Garden. Have fun; it's a spectacular trip! :)RunSueRunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13925226086216692972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798442057235183196.post-1516691953042525992009-04-12T00:52:00.000-07:002009-04-12T00:52:00.000-07:00Wow, congrats on the first double crossing I have ...Wow, congrats on the first double crossing I have read about in 2009. Can I ask a beta question? What was the water situation on the N. Kaibab? Were any faucets running or were you sterilizing water from the river. I'm making a go for it a week from monday, and would sincerely enjoy any beta you could provide on the water. Many thanks for the artistic write-up!goSonjahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06748893144293913815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6798442057235183196.post-72774797961287419842009-03-30T08:28:00.000-07:002009-03-30T08:28:00.000-07:00Wow.
